I built this practice because I kept meeting women who had done the work (e.g. self-care, books, journaling) and still felt like something inside wasn’t shifting.
I built this space because I know what it means to carry a story that doesn’t fit into neat clinical language. I know what it means to need a place where the whole truth can breathe.
Natesha Smith-Isabell, Ph.D.
My Background
I am a:
Christian, a woman shaped by faith and the quiet work of becoming
mom shaped by an IVF journey, learning each day how identity and responsibility live alongside caring for others
Army veteran, formed by leadership, discipline, and the unspoken stories women carry in high‑responsibility roles
domestic violence survivor, someone who knows what it means to rebuild safety, voice, and self from the inside out
Professionally, I bring:
Ph.D., with nearly 20 years of clinical, academic, and program development experience
LPC‑Associate (Texas), supervised by Jennifer Smith, LPC-S
Founder of The Fertile Truth™
Co‑founder of Arabella Wellness Center
Specialized training in trauma, moral injury, reproductive grief, and women veterans
These chapters and experiences deepen the way I understand faith, resilience, responsibility, longing, and courage.
I understand the terrain because I’ve lived versions of it myself.
I show up direct but never rude, providing clear and honest insights.
I recognize that you are the expert of your own experience, and my role is to help you hear yourself more clearly.
I pay attention to what’s happening in your body, soul, and spirit, because alignment across all three is where real change takes root.
